We Make Chappals
the Way They Were Meant to Be Made
Riwaiti Chappals was born from a single belief: that traditional Pakistani footwear deserves the same care, quality, and pride as any luxury product in the world.
Our Story
Riwaiti — meaning traditional in Urdu — started as a small workshop in Peshawar with one master craftsman and a conviction that handmade chappals were disappearing too fast. Machine-produced imitations were flooding the market, and the generations of skill behind each stitch, each welt, each sole were being quietly forgotten.
We set out to change that. Starting with the Peshawari Zalmi — the most iconic silhouette in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa — we began producing chappals the way they have always been made: by hand, with full-grain leather, and with the kind of attention that only comes when a craftsman takes personal pride in their work.
Over fifteen years, we have grown our collection to include Two Gear, Norozi, Charssada, and more — each style faithful to its regional roots, each pair built to outlast trends and seasons. Thousands of customers across Pakistan and the diaspora have trusted us with their feet, and that trust is the only metric we measure ourselves against.
What We Stand For
Honest Craft
Every pair is stitched by hand. No shortcuts, no machine shortcuts dressed up as artisan work. What you see is what we make.
Premium Materials
We source full-grain leather selected for durability and feel. The sole, the upper, the thread — each component chosen to last.
Rooted in Tradition
Our designs trace back to Peshawari craftsmen who have perfected these silhouettes over generations. We preserve that knowledge, not just the aesthetic.
Customer First
We stand behind every pair we ship. If something isn't right, we make it right — no lengthy processes, no runaround.
